9. Ghosts I-IV

Ghosts I-IV Ghosts I-IV by Nine Inch Nails
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

There are some pretty ingenious moments on this album. "3 Ghosts I" is dark and insect-like, with a uniquely industrial sound that can only come from Trent Reznor. Throw a little Arabian mystique in there, and you have something singular.

Some tracks are a bit slow and oddly disenchanting, but not necessarily unpleasant to listen to. This is a very cool instrumental double-disc album in my opinion with some very strange electronic distortions. There are some "haunting" moments. Just listen to "19 Ghosts III." You can easily imagine yourself in a dilapidated, derelict factory alone at 2 a.m. Sinister, weird, but completely awesome.
