My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This album is straight up 19 tracks of fun. It's no wonder that it's the classic that it is.
The Clash is one of those bands that actually made the musical landscape of the 80s halfway decent. There are some downright attention-getting, likable songs on this album like "I'm Not Down", "Train in Vain", "Hateful", and "Spanish Bombs" just to name a few. I mean, they call their music English punk rock, but there are so many influences like rockabilly, ska, jazz and more.
This album picks me up, definitely exuding feel good times.
