Favourite Worst Nightmare by Arctic Monkeys
My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

Very quick, high energy album with fast rhythms. These guys are incredibly talented considering their age. "Brianstorm", "Teddy Picker", "D Is for Dangerous", and "Balaclava" are high speed tracks sure to pump you up. You can hear the youth and sheer energy in these songs. These guys have great rhythm and lyrical sensibility, and Alex Turner takes it up a notch with his unique vocals.

"Fluorescent Adolescent", "Only Ones Who Know", and "505" are a little more nostalgic, making a nice contrast to the other tracks. "This House Is a Circus" is a great play between catchiness and brooding lyrics matching up to the music in a way that is fun, but also thought-provoking.

By far, my favorite album by these guys. Very cool band.
