I've always thought Beck was a super cool artist. His digital manipulations of sound and his innovative style never fail to impress. He isn't afraid to try something new. Each album brings something different and interesting.
The Information has got to be one of my favorite Beck albums. "Think I'm in Love" is a really cool track. Very catchy and there's a hint of something retro going on in it that I can't quite put my finger on.
"The Information" is also another favorite for me on this album. The tones are reminiscent of something futuristic and impersonal in the way that the notes are held for long stretches combined with a sort of industrial, primitive rhythm. The song has something in it that is luminescent. It glows.
Beck is an artist I admire quite a bit. Super creative genius.
